The freedom of flexibility
The stand on the back of the console can be adjusted to any angle up to 150 degrees. So you can find a comfortable gaming position wherever you are.

Two USB-C ports
USB-C ports are now located on the top and bottom of the console. Plug in the included power adapter and you can charge your console while playing in tabletop mode.

You can also connect a compatible USB-C camera (sold separately) to the top USB-C port and video chat at any time via GameChat.

Joy-Con 2 - Simple. Convenient. Magnetic.

Simply connect and disconnect
Nintendo Switch 2 includes two Joy-Con 2 controllers.

Simply move the Joy-Con 2 controllers to the side of the console and they snap into place - the built-in magnets make it possible.

These strong magnets keep the controllers firmly attached to the console at all times. To remove them, simply press the release button on the back - and you can easily take them off!

Accessories such as the Joy-Con 2 steering wheel (sold separately) also use this new connection method.

Mouse mode with Joy-Con 2
Have you noticed the small sensors on the coloured side of the two Joy-Con 2 controllers? Place the controllers on a surface with the sensors facing down and move them around to use the controllers like a mouse in compatible games.

Mouse mode opens up even more gameplay options, whether you play alone or with a friend in multiplayer mode.

Please note: Responsiveness in mouse mode may vary depending on the playing surface.

Improved sticks and buttons
The left and right sticks are now larger and more comfortable for your thumbs. They are now smoother and quieter to move.

The L and R buttons are now longer and the SL and SR buttons are also larger. This provides increased comfort when playing with the Joy-Con 2 held horizontally.

Simplified wrist straps
The Joy-Con 2 wrist strap now makes it even easier to get into the game. It simply snaps onto the controller - and can be removed just as easily at the touch of a button. This is particularly practical when playing with motion control.

The Joy-Con 2 wrist strap offers a wider base and therefore greater stability and smoother gliding of the controller in mouse mode.

HD Vibration 2
Even more intense, even more sophisticated.
With a spectrum from light shaking to powerful shocks, HD Vibration 2 improves the realistic reproduction of vibration feedback. HD Vibration 2 responds quickly to gameplay and generates even more complex vibration patterns, giving you more sophisticated tactile feedback.

GameChat

Spend time with your friends
With GameChat and Nintendo Switch 2's built-in microphone, you can easily start a voice chat anytime, anywhere. So your friends are never far away, whether you're playing in TV mode, tabletop mode or handheld mode. Up to four players can share their screen in GameChat sessions.
