The Glacier G30 Strix from PHANTEKS fits the PCBs of ASUS ROG Strix RTX 3080 graphics cards. PHANTEKS Glacier G30 Strix: Appearance and Ports

The PHANTEKS G30 Strix is a water cooler for custom water cooling systems with a full-block design. The cooler covers all relevant heat sources of the graphics card and ensures efficient cooling for the GPU, memory and voltage converters. The cooler base is made of nickel-plated copper to ensure effective heat dissipation thanks to its high thermal conductivity and optimised channel structure. The high-flow design keeps the resistance low and ensures a high flow of the coolant.

The top is made of transparent acrylic and covered with chrome plated aluminium. The connection terminal has four ports (G1/4"). Due to the flat design of the cooler, it is also possible to connect several graphics cards without any problems.

The digitally addressable RGB LED lighting is equipped with the same RGB connections as other PHANTEKS products and can be controlled via a RGB LED controller (if available) on PHANTEKS cases. Via a 3-pin connector (5VDG) the connection to corresponding motherboards is possible. A compatibility with GIGABYTE RGB Fusion-, ASRock Polychrome Sync-, ASUS Aura Sync-, MSI Mystic Light- and Razer Chroma RGB LED headers is also available.

The sealing ring of the PHANTEKS Glacier ROG Strix is made of high-quality Viton. This material is also used in the aerospace industry. It has an extremely high durability and is highly resistant to high temperatures and reactive liquids.

Why should I water cool my graphics card?

Peak performance means high heat output. This problem is exacerbated by overclocking and temperatures can reach critical levels. In short: If you want a low noise system even when playing games, benching or overclocking, there is no way than water cooling. Note 1: For integration into the cooling circuit, fittings are required which are not included in. The original cooler must be removed before installation, which voids the manufacturer's warranty!
