Hardware- and Cooling Options in the Kolink Horizon Midi-Tower:
The
Kolink Horizon Midi-Tower offer plenty of space for high-performance gaming hardware. The motherboard tray includes a practical and convenient cut-out to make swapping out your CPU cooler a breeze and fits
Mini-ITX-, Micro-ATX- and ATX form factor motherboards. Furthermore, the stylish case is capable of holding graphics cards up to 345 mm in length and CPU coolers up to 155 mm in height. Installing expensive high-powered hardware also makes keeping dust and dirt to a minimum, and fortunately this case includes
removable (tool-free) dust filters in at the top and bottom.
The hardware installed in the case can be cooled by
up to six 120 mm fans. Four of these, with addressable RGB lighting, come pre-installed in the front and rear of the case, while two further fans can be installed at the top at a later time. The case is also well-designed for holding radiators, and these can be up to 360 mm in size in the front of the case and up to 120 mm in the rear.
Tempered Glass and Addressable RGB Lighting:
In order to allow users to enjoy an unobstructed view of their carefully chosen hardware, the Horizon includes a large
removable (tool-free) tempered glass side panel and another on the front of the case. Side-facing air inlets contribute significantly to the case's excellent airflow. The
four pre-installed 120 mm fans are equipped with dispersion rings that help the digitally addressable RGB-LEDs truly shine. This enables them to brighten up the exterior of the case as much as the interior. They also happen to be connected to the
RGB controller hub, which is equipped with magnets to allow users to attach it to a location of their choosing.
The bundled remote control enables the user to select from between
nine different RGB lighting effects. Alternatively, the case includes a button on the front panel that performs the same function. This front panel provides a range of connectors consisting of
two USB 3.0 ports and one USB 2.0 ports alongside a set of standard audio connectors. One other particularly desirable feature of this case is the fact that the PSU shroud enables users to install a total of three 2,5" drives - and furthermore, beneath the shroud lie two (again, tool-free) removable drive slots which are capable of supporting two 2,5" or 3,5" drives.
